Electrodes WFM – IN 214.

It is intended for manual electric arc welding with an open arc of a wear-resistant alloy on steel parts that work in conditions of high abrasive, gas and hydro-abrasive action with moderate shock loads. The deposited metal based on CFeSiB, with a high content of CrС carbide, has high wear resistance. It has a tendency to crack, which reduces the operational stability of welded parts. The coating has high wear-resistant characteristics in abrasive environments, erosion, moderate impacts, friction, thermal loads, and pressure.

Specifications:

  • the chemical composition of the deposited material is CFeCrBSi;
  • hardness 55 HRC;
  • microhardness Cr3C2 1200-1400 HV;
  • operating temperature up to 450°C.

Electrodes are used in the cement, metallurgical, and mining industries. Also at concrete, brick and asphalt plants, in crushed stone quarries. In machine mechanisms, they are used for surfacing excavator buckets, augers, mixer blades, fan blades in pneumatically abrasive, abrasive, moderate impact environments and others.

*  The current strength is calculated and may vary in each individual case depending on the source of the welding current, the length of the cables and voltage drops in the company’s network. Surfacing is carried out at the lower permissible limit of surfacing current, for minimal mixing of the surfacing layer with the base metal, burnout of alloying elements and achievement of the stated hardness.

** In case of a violation of the tightness of the packaging and high humidity, drying at a temperature of 120-150 ⁰C for 2 hours is recommended.
